The Roshangar Undergraduate Persian Studies Journal invites submissions for its Fall 2025 edition! This issue of RoshangarJournal will focus on architecture and urbanity in Iran and the Persian-speaking world.

Written submissions in English (1500–2000 words) should be in docx format, double-spaced, and adhere to MLA format citations. The word count for written submissions in Persian is 500–800 words. Poetry submissions should be between 1–3 pages in length. Abstracts should not exceed 200 words.

You don't have to be a Persian studies major, minor, or UMD student to submit your work! Submissions are open to all undergraduate students. We will accept submissions for our Fall 2025 issue from now until Monday, November 10th, 2025.
