The Roshangar Undergraduate Persian Studies Journal invites submissions for its Fall 2026 edition! Unless specific topics are announced, the Journal will focus on all disciplines within the study of Persian Literature, art, and Culture in the Persian-speaking world.

Written submissions in English (1500–2000 words) should be in docx format, double-spaced, and adhere to MLA format citations. The word count for written submissions in Persian is 500–800 words. Poetry submissions should be between 1–3 pages in length. Abstracts should not exceed 200 words.

Contributors do not have to be a Persian studies major, minor, or a UMD student. Submissions are open to all undergraduate students. The deadline for the Fall 2026 issue is Monday November 9, 2026.
